    Hi there,

    I am building a test page (will export it when finished) with your menu and I would like to add fb and twitter & instagram icons (fanpages).
    I understand I can put it in the additional content but I do not know what sort of shortcode I should use.
    I need just icons for now.

    Can you please help?

    Many thanks,

    Krzysztof

    Hi,

    Welcome to Responsive Menu Pro Support Forum. Hope you are doing well.

    For this, you need to install a social media widget on your website. Paste the URL of your fb/twitter/instagram fan page. It will generate a shortcode which you can paste in the ‘Additional Content’ field.

    It will show the fan page content in the menu. I used ‘Easy fb Likebox’ plugin. You can choose the plugin according to your requirements.

    I am also attaching the screenshot. I did it just for the testing purpose so that I can show you how it is done. The content displayed in the menu will depend on the plugin you choose.

    Kind Regards,
    Kriti

    The easier way to do this is, just download the social media icons from the Internet and upload them to the media library of your website.

    Then copy the URL of that image( screenshot attached).

    Now, paste the following source code in the ‘Additional Content’ section of the container.

    <a href="https://www.facebook.com/">
       <img src="http://localhost/responsivepro/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/download.png" width="40" height="40">
    </a>

    You need to replace the ‘href’ value with the URL of your fb fan page and also replace the ‘src’ value of the image with the URL of the image you copied above.

    You will have to do this for every social media icon.

    Hope this helps to resolve your query.

    Regards,
    Kriti
