I’m switching between slide and push (right) and even though the z-index seems to be the same value for each, slide enters right “behind” the scrollbar, whereas push brings the responsive menu over the top of the scrollbar. The issue is when the ‘push’ menu moves back (to close) it covers the bar (for a fraction of time) then the scrollbar reappears and the page appears to jump (after its finished its intial animation). It looks glitchy.
In contrast the slide is one simple movment in and out without making any other elements move.
Also when using ‘slide’, the page content remains in the horizontal position it was in (for example if you are have-way down the page), however when you use the push option, it returns you to the top of the page (which disorientates the user if you choose to view the menu, but then continue to read the current page).
Are these functional limitations of the push option or can I control this…or is it a glitch?
