I recently bought this menu as I like the style i.e. Rainbow coloured background under the menu with a Rocket icon logo above (see enclosed screen shot) However I can see no way of setting this up and have contacted your support with no reply. The default background is completely black. I have worked out how to add an image below the menu or above but not behind. So how do you create the option you advertise?

    Hi Kriti

Thanks for the reply. I already found the article you gave a link too before I posted this thread and unfortunately it doesnt provide the answer.

It doesnt explain how you can change the background colour in the actual menu only how to change above and below the menu line and it certainly doesnt explain how you acheived the attractive rainbow effect as used in your promotion? Maybe i missed something? could you point out where this information is?

The only paragraph that refers to changing the menu is in step two…

“Step Two – Turn on the Desktop Menu option and style accordingly
Next, you need to navigate to the Desktop Menu tab and make sure that this has been turned on.

There are a number of style options on this tab that you can apply including font sizing, colours, menu item heights etc. so go wild and enjoy.”

Is this the actual explanation “There are a number of style options on this tab that you can apply including font sizing, colours, menu item heights etc. so go wild and enjoy.”! Ive tried various combinations and unable to even change the colour of the menu let alone set up an attractive rainbow style meny background??

    Thanks
    Neil

    Hi neil,

To change the background color of the menu, Go to ‘Container’ tab-> Background section -> Upload image in the ‘Image’ field. Next, make sure you have enabled the desktop menu so that the changes are being applied on the menu.

    Regards,
    Kriti

    Hi Kriti

thanks for the update most appreciated 🙂 I did eventually find the code how to change the menu background to a solid single colour but the menu in the photo has a rainbow effect that is spread over all the menu titles which is faded with a gradient effect- how was this acheived? is this a photo background?? If so how is it acheived? I automatically presumed that the example in the advertising would be a standard option?

    Thanks
    Neil

    Hi Neil,

The background of the menu container is an image. There are many tools with which you can create such images. Adobe Photoshop is one of them.

    Kind regards,
    Kriti
