    Hi,

I was custimizing the additional content with html code, but in my new site when I add the code and then save the options, I receive an error 400 – Bad Request (Your browser sent a request this server could not understand.). I used your plugin in other sites with additional HTML content without problems. Is it a bug of the new version or other kind of problem? I’m using Siteground hosting and Divi theme.

    Thank you for your help

    Hi Ale,

Welcome to Responsive menu Pro Support Forum. Hope you are having a great day.

You are customizing the Additional content section totally right.

400 Bad request error indicates that the server was unable to process the request sent by the client. Please refer to the following article to troubleshoot the issue: https://airbrake.io/blog/http-errors/400-bad-request

If the issue still persists, then please share the website’s admin credentials with us so that we can look into the issue.

    Regards,
    Kriti

Hi, thank you for your reply. I don’t understand, what do I have to do? I receive the error 400 ONLY when I update the options of Responsive Menu and ONLY if I put some html code in Additional Content. I’m not sure that is a server problem. Maybe it’s a Responsive Menu bug or incompatibility with SiteGround hosting service. I prefere to not share my admin credentials, is there another way to solve or to check this problem/bug? Thank you in advance for your support

    Regards,
    Ale

    Hi,

We request you to turn on WP_DEBUG in wp-config.php

    Debugging in WordPress

    Turn on WP_DEBUG_LOG too.

I need to see the debug.log file in order to see what is causing this error.

    Regards,
    Kriti

    Hi,

We also need the CSS code you have entered in the additional content section so that we can check what is going wrong.

    Regards,
    Kriti
