    Hello,

I’m having trouble viewing my menu icons in the translated version of my site. (www.passaportedoluxo.com)

It only appears in the standard version and would like it to appear in the translated version.

I am using the WPML plugin to translate and talking to WPML support they asked me to contact MENU plugin support.

I look forward to returning to resolve the issue and hope someone can help me.

    I thank the attention.

    Hey Ana,

Unfortunately that sounds like it will be impossible to do.

The problem is it seems that the translated menu pages have different menu IDs to the standard ones so the font icons don’t match when the translated items are loaded.

I’m not sure there is a solution to this problem but I will have a think about if anything can be done.

    All the best

    Peter

    Hello,

Thanks for the quick response. Is there any custom code that can be entered to solve this problem?

    I really appreciate your attention.

    Hey Ana,

No custom code that you could use with my plugin. You could do it outside of my plugin an use wordpress menu filters and auto inject all the font icon html yourself but you’d need quite a lot of php/html knowledge for that.

Is there a link where I can learn a little about this code? I can ask some developer to do it for me.

    Hey Ana,

It’s all WordPress level filters so you would need to check the codex and dev docs for the exact filters needed. If you were to get a developer to do it they would have a better idea about what is needed or what functions they need to use.

Let me know if you need any further help.

    Peter
