I use Oxygen builder in wordpress.

There are 2 header rows. The first header row I use with your menu shortcode in the middle column of 3 columns (on desktop view size) and I put the shortcode in the right column of a 3 column header that is visible when the screen size gets less than 992px.

How do I have the menu use the positioning of the column, not the settings in your plugin?
Here is the working address: http://www.aaworksite.com/brain/

I also want it to have the menu push the page to the left as in this example if you look at this in mobile size: https://www.thorn.org/

    Thanks

    Hey Paul,

You will need to set the Positioning to Relative if you want it to be placed exactly where you place the shortcode.

For pushing, you need the Push animation instead of the default slide. Both options above can be set inside the plugin options.

Please let me know if you need any help

Thanks for the quick response, Peter.

I got the hamburger to position properly, but my menu is not sliding out when I click it. Nothing is happening.

    Thoughts?

    Hi Paul,

For some reason you have the plugin being output twice on the site.

Are you using the shortcode more than once on the same page? If so, you will need to remove one of them as you can’t have it twice on the page.

    Please let me know

I have it in 2 header rows because I need it to be in the right column with smaller viewports. Is there a way around that?

You were correct. Once I remove the other instance, it started working.

Now, there is a bunch of white space when it pushes out. You have so many great customizations, but it is sometime hard to figure out which one goes for which.

    Thoughts?

    Hey Paul,

That can only come from the push animation you added. It looks like the wrapper you added contains the menu too so it’s pushing that with it. I think you need to find a different element to push that doesn’t contain the menu.

    Please advise

    Hi Peter…

I’ve been having some learning curve issues. I realized today that I don’t need to use the shortcode, I can activate the Header Bar. This seems to work fine, but the hamburger menu is not showing on smaller screens. Plus, I am getting the white space on the right when I view it in portrait phone size.

    Please advise.

    Peter…

The HEADER being enabled, interferes with my web builder, Oxygen. So I removed it and just created a 3 column section and used the PHP code to add the menu.

Now the menu doesn’t show up on the desktop view and I’m still getting the space to the right of the page on mobile view.

I’ve gone through the knowledgebase, but it seems to be missing a few bases.

    Can you assist, please?

    Hey Paul,

Do you have the Hide on Desktop option turned on?

That’s the only reason I can think of that it won’t show on Desktop, unless you are using the shortcode inside non mobile templates or something?

In addition, and this could be the cause of the space on mobile view is the fact that the HTML for your site has a lot of errors as below:

    http://www.aaworksite.com/brain/

It may be worth finding the cause and fixing those first and then seeing if you still have issues as there are no obvious CSS reasons that your page HTML doesn’t cover the whole width of the screen.

    Please let me know

    Peter…

Thanks for responding. I am so confused right now with turning this on, turning that off. I’m at a complete loss.

    Hey Paul,

Does the white space issue on mobile disappear when you deactivate my plugin?

It doesn’t look related to my plugin as there is nothing being output from my plugin that I can see.

    Hi Peter…

Thank you for all your support. I’ve been having issues and it’s a combination of many things. I’ve gone a different direction for now with the menu and after the site is completed (rush, rush, rush) I will look into this again on a test site and see if I can get it to work properly.

    Much appreciated.
