    I am using the full page theme. I use a lot of anchors in my menu and when I switch from page to page and use an anchor menu- it loads twice. Check it out (on your cell phone): blackbookology.com…load “featured artists” page and then click to load “upload entry” …it will load the page twice…any fix to this?

    Hey Jacek,

    It is because you have an element with an ID of #uploads on the Featured Artists and Upload Entry pages so before it redirects it attempts to scroll to that part of the page.

    It isn’t loading the page twice, it is scrolling to the ID on the Featured Artists page and then redirecting to the Upload Entry page.

    Are you able to rename your ID on the Featured Artists page?

    Hey Peter!
    Thanks for looking into it. All my pages have the “#uploads” anchor since its in the footer. I turned off the “smooth scroll” option and the problem seems to have resolved. Although the smooth scroll was pretty slick, its a shame.

    Hey Jack,

    I agree it’s a shame that you can’t have that option turned on.

    I can of course look at seeing if there is a way to tweak the code to handle this case better.
