Mobile Only Scrolling Issue

    Mobile Only Scrolling makes the content jump up way above the menu not sure how to fix this issue? When page loads it is fine it’s only when we scroll.

    Hi Tim,

    I have just checked on a few mobile devices and don’t see any issues when scrolling.

    Please can you advise on how I can re-create this issue?

    On our testing devices after I scroll on mobile the top margin under the menu jumps up higher than menu and cuts images short from when it loaded.

    Sorry I should have said the slider gallery once you scroll back up to top jumps way above the menu and can’t figure out why? not page content when you scroll is fine.

    Hey Tim,

    Are you sure that this issue goes away when my plugin is deactivated?

    I can’t see any reason that my plugin would cause that effect. Looking through the web inspector tools and deleting my plugin doesn’t fix the issue.

    I have activated and deactivated the plugin and issue goes away when deactivated, so I am now positive it is the plugin, please help find a solution.

    seems to be ok on android but a problem on apple devices.

    I have an apple device and it works fine for me.

    Which device in particular and have you cleared all the caches etc. from the devices you are trying it on?

    go to this page and tell me you don’t see the gold bar get pushed after scrolling we test our sites on iphone7, 7plus, and an iPhone X and all three having the same issue, have clear my cache several times.

    When you plugin is removed issue is fixed.

    Hi Tim,

    I see the issue now.

    I can see that you have a #page-container element around all your content, when scrolling, an inline style of margin-top: -121px; is added to this element which is causing it to shoot up off the page.

    If you can track down where in your theme/plugins this is happening then you can try and remove it as that is the cause of the issue. I don’t know why it works when my plugin is disabled, potentially the JavaScript is using my plugins HTML to calculate something and getting confused.

    Can I also suggest using the plugin shortcode and placing that inside the #page-container element to see if that fixes it. It could be that placing the menu HTML inside the container will stop the JavaScript from getting confused.

    Please let me know if either of the above work.
