    Hello

Please consider adding submenu-open class to the parent menu item. I am seeing this on some well made sites. This would enable further customization of the menus design, in particularly visually connecting a parent menu item to its children.

    Thanks for this great plugin.

    Hey Frederik,

I believe WordPress already adds this class itself to menus or are you talking about as you click to open the sub menus once the page is already loaded?

    Please advise

    Peter

    Hi Peter,

Like other common site navigations Responsive Menu has clickable trigger icon’s in the menu that allows a visitor to expose/hide sub-menus inside a parent menu. The idea is that the parent element should have two separate stylings depending on whether its sub-menu is exposed or not.

As far as i can tell this is not possible to do with Responsive Menu but I may be wrong as I am only an amateur level web-developer. Nevertheless, this type of styling seems common on modern sites and I think it may be a good addition to Responsive Menu.

It would make it possible to style the menu with a visually intimate connection between a parent menu and it’s sub-menu. For example we could make the parent drop a shadow down over its sub-menu when it becomes exposed.

    Hey Frederik,

There is already the .responsive-menu-pro-subarrow-active class that is added when a menu is expanded.

    Does that help?

    Peter
